Updates install themselves in the background
For M1, M2, M3, and newer Macs
For Intel-based Macs
First launch: macOS blocks the app ("unidentified developer")
SalonQube isn't notarized by Apple yet, so Gatekeeper quarantines it on first open. Either right-click the app in Applications and choose Open (then confirm), or run this once from Terminal after installing:
$ xattr -cr /Applications/SalonQube.app
Recommended installer with auto-updates
No installation required
First launch: "Windows protected your PC" (SmartScreen)
The installer isn't signed with a paid Microsoft certificate yet, so SmartScreen shows a warning the first time. Click More info, then Run anyway to continue installing.
Universal Linux package
For Ubuntu, Debian and derivatives
Installing on Linux
AppImage (works on any distro) — make it executable, then run it:
$ chmod +x SalonQube-*.AppImage$ ./SalonQube-*.AppImage
Debian / Ubuntu (.deb) — installs a desktop shortcut automatically:
$ sudo apt install ./salonqube_*.deb
