SalonQube uses cookies for authentication, security and your display preferences — nothing else. No advertising trackers, no analytics cookies, no third-party data collection. This page explains exactly what each one does.

In addition to cookies, SalonQube stores a small amount of data in your browser's local and session storage. These are not cookies, but they serve a similar purpose.
| Storage | What it holds | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Local storage | Theme preference, sidebar collapse state, printing toggle, selected timezone, tutorial progress | So your preferences persist across sessions without requiring a server round-trip. |
| Session storage | Temporary UI state (e.g. unsent form drafts) | Cleared automatically when the tab closes. |
| IndexedDB | Offline invoice queue | Lets the point-of-sale keep billing without an internet connection. Syncs and clears when the connection returns. |
Clearing your browser storage signs you out and discards anything not yet synced. If you have been billing offline, do not clear storage mid-shift.
Because SalonQube uses only essential cookies for authentication and security, there are no preferences to opt in or out of — the product simply cannot function without them.
Every modern browser lets you control cookies at a granular level. If you want to restrict cookies for salonqube.com, the settings are usually under Privacy or Site Settings.
Blocking all cookies will prevent SalonQube from functioning correctly. We recommend allowing first-party cookies from salonqube.com while blocking third-party cookies if you wish.
If we ever add a new category of cookie — for example, an optional analytics tool — we will update this page and add a preference toggle so you can opt in or out. We will also notify account owners by email before any such change takes effect.
Questions about cookies or any other aspect of how SalonQube handles your data go to info@salonqube.com.
